Howling Bells Homecoming Australian Tour 2014

Sydney expats Howling Bells are headed back home from their adopted UK to perform a series of special shows in honour of their recently released fourth album Heartstrings – their firs set of Australian shows since 2011. Presented by Live Nation, these three headline shows in Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne will showcase Howling Bells’ sonic evolution from the lo-fi gothic outfit of 2005 to the haunting songsmiths that have opened for the likes of The Killers and Coldplay. “I’m desperate to tour and connect with an audience again – there’s no way for an artist to gauge people’s reactions to a song unless you’re playing them live,” says frontwoman Juanita. “Twitter’s not gonna do it, Facebook’s not gonna do it, online comments aren’t gonna do it. I need to feel them.” Fulfil her request this September. All tickets on sale now.

Thursday 11th September – Howler, Melbourne VIC

Friday 12th September – Oxford Arts Factory, Sydney NSW
