There’s no question that Brit producer SBTRKT’s debut, self-titled record was quite easily one of the best of 2011. However, that was three years ago, and despite such a stellar release, fans have desperately been waiting for more.

Thankfully, the beats maestro has at long last served us with a brand-spanking new track ‘New Dorp. New York’ – the first taste of his much anticipated new LP. And guess what, this little ditty has a special guest appearance from the quintessence of NYC indie-rock, Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig.

The tune features both SBTRKT and Koenig sorta sing, sorta talk their ode to “the city that never sleeps” to a pounding bass line as waves of schizophrenic industrial clankerings come and go throughout the production.
