In what has to be one of the most annoying “feuds” between musicians (are we really calling it that?), Mark Kozelek of Sun Kil Moon has released a track, as promised, entitled ‘War On Drugs: Suck My Cock.’

The fresh tune arrives after Kozelek complained of The War On Drugs’ sound bleeding over into his performance during a Ottawa Folk Festival a few weeks ago.

Koz, a little pissed off, had a few words to say on-stage at the time, saying “I hate that beer commercial lead-guitar shit” before introducing his next song as “The War On Drugs Can Suck My Fucking Dick.”

In a slew of comments made by Kozelek following the incident, the singer-songwriter has apologised, then asked if he could join The War On Drugs on-stage, before promising and now delivering, a song about the band and his genitalia as Pitchfork reports.

Whether you’re Team War On Drugs or Team Sun Kil Moon, one has to admit the track is kinda hilarious, and there’s no doubt the limitless class of Adam Granduciel and The War On Drugs will let this boost in publicity roll right off their backs.
