It’s fair to say that live music fans of Australia love themselves a gig in a unique location, and thanks to a band from New South Wales, our fair nation will see the most insane live show in the most picturesque of places.

This wondrous musical extravaganza we speak of is Rhythm Underground, a music festival held in one the largest cave systems in the entire Southern Hemisphere, the Jenolan Caves east of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales.

The event has been organised and will also be headlined by Central Coast band Rhythm Hunters, a six-piece who specialise worldy sounds of fused electronica, doused with Indonesian, African and Japanese influences.

Rhythm Underground will also feature the pioneering force behind the didgeridoo and drum sound, Wild Marmalade, as well as Dream Drone, a unique and enticing performance also on the didgeridoo that will be utterly transfixing the primal sonics rebounding off the Cave walls.

Taking place for just one night, there too will be camping grounds located nearby on a property nearby with “a Dam and plenty of space” for cave-dwellers to take a load off and have a snooze, but if camping ain’t your game, there’s also accommodation in the form of Cave houses, hotels, motels and backpacker lodges.

Outside of the diverse array of music, the beautiful location also offers winning caves tours, scenic bush walks and Australian Aboriginal culture.

This isn’t the first time the event has taken place, with Rhythm Hunters having successfully thrown three concerts in the pristine location with over 1500 satisfied punters who keep coming back for more.

Rhythm Underground will be held on Saturday 29th November, kicking-off at 8:00pm in the Grand Arch. For full event details, jump over to their official Facebook page.
