This is why you never mess with a VJ. In footage that his since gone viral, Channel V presenter Danny Clayton delivered a major burn to American pro surfer Kolohe Andindo, after the latter was apparently sending some not-so-welcome texts to the presenter’s girlfriend, model Zoe Cross.

After Clayton’s co-host, Carissa Walford, crossed back to the studio from the Australian Open of Surfing in Manly, Clayton said he had some tips for Andino, who had just completed an interview with Walford from Manly Beach. Clayton promptly unleashed a colossal-sized owning, live on air.

“I’ve got some tips for Kolohe too, actually: stay the fuck away from my girlfriend, I’ve seen the texts you’ve been sending her and they’re making her uncomfortable,” Clayton said, remaining in full presenter mode the entire time and effortlessly segueing back into the show.

Considering Andino is a surfer, he certainly won’t have any trouble applying cold water to the burned area. However, as News Corp reports, during a recent appearance on KIIS FM, Andino said that the situation was “completely blown out of proportion”

“When I first saw it I was pretty bummed,” he told radio hosts Hughesy and Kate. “It really questioned my character and it was completely blown out of proportion, the text messages I was sending to his girlfriend.”

“I don’t want people thinking I was raised wrong and thinking I was creeping out a girl,” he added, insisting he and Cross are “just friends”. “The part where he says I’m making her feel uncomfortable… I was pretty bummed, but I’m here to do a job and I did it and I’m happy with the weekend.”
