Leave it to Tame Impala to remove any preconceptions we could’ve had about their new album, Currents, by actually dropping more tracks from the eagerly anticipated new release.
Following the release of the swirling, eight-minute epic that was ‘Let It Happen’, new single ”Cause I’m A Man’ is another curve ball from the Perth outfit. The moody, silky slow-burner sounds like ’80s R&B meets Roxy Music and filtered through inimitable creative mind of Kevin Parker.
While there’s currently no release date set for Currents, ”Cause I’m A Man’ will be available to purchase digitally from today. The band recently announced two-month tour of the US, though no Australian dates have been announced just yet.
