Aussie hard rock legends AC/DC kicked off their highly anticipated Rock Or Bust Australian tour last night at ANZ Stadium in Sydney, where the band’s lengthy and storied career began 42 years ago.

The tour, which some speculated would never happen due to the absence of beleaguered drummer Phil Rudd and iconic guitarist Malcolm Young from the group, comes in support of the band’s latest album, Rock Or Bust.

In Young’s place is his nephew Stevie, who helped the band play through a cracking playlist of fresh, new numbers — ‘Rock Or Bust’, ‘Play Ball’, and ‘Baptism of Fire’ — and plenty of their old classics.

The legendary band will be playing stadium shows throughout November and December, with another date in Sydney set for tonight, before appearances in the rest of the major capital cities. Check out last night’s setlist below.
