Prolific psych-rockers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are ramping up operations in preparation for the release of their eagerly anticipated eighth album, Nonagon Infinity, which is slated to drop 29th April.

After unleashing a hectic trailer for the album last month, King Gizz have now unveiled a trippy music video for the album’s first single, the raucous, fuzzed-out ‘Gamma Knife’, which looks kind of like a lost Monty Python sketch.

The video, directed by Danny Cohen, was premiered via Stereogum today and sees the band performing in robes and face-paint as pagan-looking monks assemble and commit mass ritual suicide… it is a King Gizz video, after all.

According to Stereogum, the album contains nine tracks pressed on nine-sided vinyl and each song flows into the next in a seamless loop, so the album could in theory be played forever, hence Nonagon Infinity. Check out the ‘Gamma Knife’ video below.
