Both absolute monster groups in their own right, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam will be forming a sort of rock Megazord very soon, as members of each reunite a band they played in together decades ago.

Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron will rejoin Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready, Stone Gossard, and Jeff Ament to revive their former project ‘Temple Of The Dog’, taking it on tour for the first time to celebrate its 25th anniversary, CNN reports.

The band released a lone LP all the way back in ’91, but never toured it as the members all moved on to pursue other incredibly successful avenues.

Below is the appropriately-’90s announcement that looks like someone taped a snippet of Rage over the credits sequence of an old sitcom, and features some footage of the elusive live act.

They’ll be doing a November run of five shows in Philadelphia, New York City, San Francisco, Seattle and Los Angeles, while the record itself will be re-released in September.
