Byron-based rockers Skegss have certainly made a name for themselves over the past 12 months. The garagey trio have been going from strength to strength since signing to Dune Rats’ record label, Ratbag Records.

The boys recently celebrated the release of their eagerly anticipated sophomore EP, Everyone Is Good At Something, a barn-burning collection of songs brimming with DIY garage punk energy, with a national tour.

Their trek around the country included a stop at Yours & Owls festival in Wollongong, which went down over the long weekend. In case you were curious: yes, the band’s shows are just as loose as you suspected they might be.

The band recently took to social media to share some footage shot during their Yours & Owls set, which shows the crowd engaging in all sorts of untoward revelry. One poor bloke apparently even had his ear piercing torn out.
