Having taken a year off, Adelaide fuzz rockers Battlehounds are back with a new track, the rough and moody ‘Good Man’.

Their singer Alex imbues his hoarse vox with a satisfying bitterness, riding a wave of guitar buzz and a driving beat. It was all recorded and mixed by John McNicoll and Jimmy Balderston (Luca Brasi, Grenadiers, Gay Paris), with a bit of additional magic from Steve Smart (DZ Deathrays, DMA’s, British India), clearly an ideal fit for the trio.

‘Good Man’ is the first we’ve heard from the band’s debut EP, due early 2017, and the track will be available October 21st through Mirador Records. Battlehounds will be taking their new one on the road for a couple of shows, dates below.
