We’ve seen Australia’s favourite moral compass with a YouTube Channel, friendlyjordies, take on triple j listeners, Falls Festival and Stereosonic punters, as well as completely eviscerating Mike Baird and Sydney’s lockout laws.

Now he’s turned his attention to The X Factor, which anyone can tell you is an embarrassment, but they probably can’t tell you that in the form of a rotating cast of characters dressed in different wigs with intentionally shoddy editing.

The X Factor has a lot of dirty laundry. In addition to providing a questionable benefit for its competitors, different iterations of the show have been hit with accusations of rigging, with some claiming the producers or judges favour certain acts.

And even former coaches for reality singing shows admit such programs are a poor launch pad for a legitimate music career, as they focus solely on finding someone skilled in singing and not a fully fleshed-out artist who can write their own songs.
