Tales in Space are incredibly excited to announce their first national tour of 2013, with the wonderful Enola Fall, to celebrate the release of the first single from their upcoming debut album, the indie pop GEM of a track, “Shades”!
“Shades” is already enjoying a great response from media and fans alike, including full rotation on Triple J, play on FBi and all sorts of other awesome community radio shows nationally, and their stunning animated clip getting a serious workout on RAGE.
“Shades” instantly draws you in with it’s positive, poppy, youthfull energy. The song has an underlying darker side which reveals itself at certain quite unexpected moments throughout the track, but the hopeful and hooky uplifting choruses and brilliantly bright finale will not fail to light up your day and put a pep in your step!
The band can not wait to get out on the road with the mighty Enola Fall from Tasmania, playing 10 shows in total, all the way from Brisbane down to Melbourne and finishing up with two shows in Tasmania.
After Tales In Space’s buzzing soft release, the insanely catchy instrumental wonder ‘Starwars’, for which their video received a SMAC nomination this year for “Best On Scareen”, alongside FBI high rotation and Triple J play, TiS have been wipping up remixes for notable acts such as Hungry Kids of Hungary, Dappled Cities, Little Fox and Expatriate.
Tales In Space are a Sydney two piece who write and record all their own tunes, cooking up tasty electro clash flavours and marinating them in traditional guitar spices with cutouts of random music images of day to day life.
