A new Aussie booking agency has officially launched today, with an impressive list of Australian acts under its belt, ready to make an impressionable mark on the music industry.
Backed by a team with over 20 years industry experience, 123 Agency officially launches today as it signs a mix of 24 artists to its roster, including Stonefield – in the lead-up to their debut studio album, Ngaiire – in the wake of releasing her own critically acclaimed debut LP, as well the worthy attention-grabbing likes of Kingswood, Bonjah, Calling All Cars, Dune, Way Of The Eagle, and bookings for international visits from The Cribs and forthcoming Cherryfest headliners The BellRays.
The full 123 Agency roster also includes Blonde On Blonde, Cabins, Cairo Knife Fight, Ella Hooper, Kid Mac, Krista Polvere, Lester The Fierce, Michael Paynter, Red Ink, Space Invadas, Stillwater Giants, Sun City, Tales in Space, The Pierce Brothers, The Seabellies, The Sinking Teeth, and Undercolours.
“These days, the audience are not just standing at the front of the stage; they’re hearing and seeing music via more channels than ever before,” reads a press statement from the newly launched Aussie agency. “Connecting an artist with their audience requires knowledge and expertise across multiple channels. That expertise is what makes 123 Agency different,” they add, with their natty tagline of ‘You’re Safe With Us’.
123 Agency is the brainchild of Director Damian Costin, the former drummer for seminal Aussie rock band Motor Ace and previously an agent for Premier Artists before leaving the bookers to strike out on his own in mid-2012. As 123 Agency’s Director, Costin is leading a team who are “on a mission to find new ways and blaze new trails because they love what they do.”
Joining Costin in 123 Agency’s talent pool is industry veteran Chris Robinson as Director, Management guru Michael Wassertheil, New Zealand-bred Agent Regan Lethbridge, and Digital Marketing Coordinator expert Madeleine O’Gorman.
