Oh boy, we would’ve loved to have seen this one. Slash invited his ‘good friend’ Lemmy of Mötorhead to join him on stage at the Download Festival in England over the weekend. Fans were treated by Slash to renditions of ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’, ‘Paradise City’, ‘Night Train’ and Velvet Revolver’s ‘Slither’ with the Gunners axeman’s vocalist Myles Kennedy doing his best to outdo Axl Rose. Lemmy came on stage to join Slash for a rendition of Dr Alibi. While Slash has cleaned himself up and professes to be addicted to nothing more harmful than Twitter, Lemmy is now in his 60s and still drugging it up with the best of them.
