Melbourne’s greatest rock n’ roll export for years, The Temper Trap, have revealed that they’ve got some new songs and are about to road test them live before recording a new album early next year. The band have told the NME that they recorded a few new tracks while they were last in Australia and are about to try them out during a few massive London gigs and when they return to Oz for some massive sold out shows in July. ‘Rabbit Hole’ is one of the new ones we’ve been playing, it’s about escape,” drummer Toby Dundas said. “We laid it down in the studio when we were last in Australia and decided we’d start playing it live.” The band are making a triumphant homecoming this month but if you haven’t got a ticket, too bad – the tour is sold out.
