Splendour In The Grass 2015 is now a mere week away and happy punters are busy organising carpools, highlighting their timetables, getting their itineraries together, and making sure their tickets are in a very, very safe place.
But then there’s those poor souls who missed out on tickets. All they’re doing is cursing the internet and/or financial gods that you won’t get to see one of the biggest Splendour In The Grass lineups in recent memory.
Never fear, poor Splendour wannabes, there’s still hope for you. This year, Telstra are partnering with Splendour to create Splendour In The Grass TV, which will allow you to enjoy Splendour action from the comfort of your own home.
From 5pm AEST Sunday, 26th July, Splnedour TV will be bringing you exclusive behind the scenes footage, interviews, live sets, and featured sets from the lush surrounds of North Byron Parklands, directly to you to enjoy.
Fans will be able to access the stream via Telstra Music from 5pm AEST. James Mathison, Jane Gazzo, and Ella Hooper will be your hosts for the evening, and we haven’t even mentioned the bands you’ll get to see.
Not only will you get to enjoy eagerly anticipated sets from Iceland indie folk outfit Of Monsters and Men, Australian dance duo Peking Duk, Brisbane singer-songwriter Jarryd James, and raw-as-hell rock duo Royal Blood, but you’ll also see the headline set from Blur in all its glory.
