Is Paul Weller’s midlife crisis getting worse? Apart from his recent engagement to yet another backing singer, Hannah Andrews, who is half his age; he’s apparently quit the booze as well. According to London’s ever reliable The Sun quoting a ‘pal’ “He decided to knock the drink on the head two or three months ago. He’s enjoying a new lease of life.” Weller has had a few well publicised episodes of being slaughtered in public over the last few years and what with him being nominated for the Mercury Music Prize this week for his latest album, it looks like he’s really getting his act together.
