Last year, Twilight At Taronga announced an amazing lineup of artists set to perform against the picturesque backdrop of the 180-degree Sydney harbour view for the 2016 edition of the gig series at Taronga Zoo. As a major celebration of Taronga Zoo’s centennial year, the stunning vantage point offered by the site’s harbour-side amphitheatre will be hosting music lovers every weekend from Thursday, 28th January through Saturday, 12th March.

The series featured Tex Perkins’ new concert about the man, the music and the legend that is Johnny Cash.

Featuring the same awesome group of musicians enlisted by Tex for the Helpmann award-winning show The Man In Black, and featuring Rachael Tidd, this new concert took us on a fast-paced, rock & roll journey to the heart of the music and the scene of Johnny’s career salvation. With some of his best-loved songs and music from all the prison performances, Far From Folsom definitely satisfies Johnny Cash fans, all over again.
