The Cure may have celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2018 but the goth royalty show no signs of slowing down.
The band have just announced through Robert Smith’s twitter account that they “will be headlining around 20 festivals next summer — mostly in Europe”

Smith has also confirmed that The Cure has booked in studio time. In an interview with BBC 6 Music Smith divulged “I’ve suddenly fallen in love with the idea of writing new songs”. The last new The Cure recording was a cover of The Beatles’ ‘Hello, Goodbye’ which you can listen to below:
