Fans of Snow Patrol can start rejoicing, with the band releasing new tickets for some of their previously sold-out shows in Sydney and Brisbane.

Next month, Snow Patrol are set to return to Aussie shores for the first time since a brief headline tour just last year.

However, things are set to be a little different this time around, with the acclaimed group performing a series of acoustic shows, delivering intimate, stripped back versions of their tracks for their eager fans.

Of course, fans were obviously incredibly keen to see the group back on our shores, so much so that the band’s performances in Perth, Brisbane, and Sydney have sold out, with a new show added to the latter city to cope with demand.

Now though, there’s good news for fans who missed out, with extra tickets being released for the band’s shows in Sydney and Brisbane.

Going on sale from 12pm today (that is Wednesday, July 24th), limited tickets will be available for Snow Patrol’s performances in Brisbane on August 6th, and Sydney on August 11th.

As it stands, the band’s Melbourne show is almost sold out, meaning there’s a very good chance the entire tour will soon reach its capacity.

In related news, Snow Patrol recently received the honour of 2006’s ‘Chasing Cars’ being classified as the most-played song of the 21st century on UK radio.

Meanwhile, the band have also teased some big things in the future, sharing the first single from what appears to be some 25th anniversary celebrations.

Stay tuned for more info on that front, but be quick to grab tickets to Snow Patrol’s Australian tour next month while you still can!
