Get ready to be able to bring the ‘boys to the yard’ as you can now get your hands on Kelis’ milkshakes…if you live in East London, that is.

Have you ever dreamed of being able to attract the boys just like Kelis? Well, with her new milkshake shop, you can do just that. The American singer-songwriter has announced her new milkshake bar opening in East London in March.

Although her song ‘Milkshake’ is now 17 years of age, it’s still not losing traction. From references in multiple TV shows and movies, to the infamous cover by Goodnight Nurse, her song seems to make its way into listeners heads quite often.

The new milkshake bar by Kelis will offer five exclusive flavours, said to be named after her songs. Backing the entire project will be Deliveroo, which will bring the milkshakes to the house.

East London a bit too far for you? If you want to still be able to have a front garden full of boys, then you could try Kelis’ milkshake recipe that she shared via NME.

Kelis revealed that the reason her milkshakes are so famous is that she adds a fair amount of Baileys Irish Cream to it, which is sure to bring me to the yard, too.

Keen to try them for yourself? The milkshakes will be available from March 18th at The Iron Bloom on Shoreditch’s Great Eastern Street in East London.
