We’ve been seeing some huge Aussie success stories lately, and now the latest has been that of Amy Shark and her debut appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon – one of the most visible of all the US late-night TV shows.

With Amy Shark having appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden in November and Last Call with Carson Daly back in February, she’s no stranger to the world of US TV, and with Aussie favourites Gang Of Youths making their US TV debut yesterday, Shark has now joined them as one of the many Aussie names filling up American screens this week.

Performing a stunning version of ‘Adore’, Amy Shark kicked off proceedings with a rather subdued performance style, before becoming as animated and vibrant as ever when that first chorus kicked in, and closing her one-song set to some rapturous applause from the studio audience.

Currently in the process of finishing up her US tour, Amy Shark is about to head over to Europe for a handful of shows, before heading back to Australia briefly in April to play some long-awaited homecoming shows, right before she gets ready to head over to the US once again. Needless to say, she’s in pretty high demand.

On home soil though, Amy Shark has recently been named as one of the nominees for this year’s APRA Music Awards, being nominated for Song Of The Year for ‘Weekends’, and Pop Work Of The Year and Most Played Australian Work Of The Year for ‘Adore’.
