New york indie rock band We Are Scientists have just released the video to their latest single ‘Make It Easy’ taken from their album TV en Français which came out earlier this year.
The video to ‘Make It Easy’ wanted to anser the question ‘what happens when the gentleman scholars from We Are Scientists travel to an alien planet?’ The answer: ‘Plenty, and it ain’t all pretty.’
The band’s guitarist/lead vocalist Keith Murray explains ‘Make it Easy’ as “a love song, but with plenty of ambivalence and frustration lurking around the edges. We figured a good way to illustrate that would be to use that old trope a guy who gets involved with an alien woman on a foreign world after slaying all her friends. The seeds of disaster are planted right at the beginning for this young couple!”
