Bliss N Eso are hot on the heels of the completion of their eagerly anticipated new album, Off The Grid. After dropping a killer new single in the form of ‘Dopamine’, the Australian hip-hop mavericks hit the triple j studios last week to unveil ‘Friend Like You’, their new single featuring Lee Fields.
After its premiere on Veronica & Lewis, the track is now available for your listening pleasure as the latest preview of Bliss N Eso’s hotly anticipated new album, which the band have now confirmed will be called Off The Grid. MC Bliss, MC Eso and DJ Izm will finally take the leash off their latest beast on Friday, 10th March.
“Sometimes those dark times feel like they have you trapped and you can be a prisoner of your own mind,” MC Bliss said of ‘Friend Like You’ “The song is an affirmation, a reminder that this prison has been built within your own mind, so at the end of the day you’re the one with the power to break free.”
Meanwhile, Off The Grid is the culmination of months of hard work in the lab. After completing their record-breaking Circus Under The Stars Tour back in 2014, the trio hit the studio for the first time in three years, bolstered by the album’s themes of positive thinking and self-belief, which have marked all of their work.
