The Dixie Chicks will appear on Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, Lover.

Swift has revealed the news via her instagram account.

The notorious country trio will appear on the song ‘Soon You’ll Get Better,’ which is track 12 on the new album.

The news follows the Dixie Chicks’ announcement in June that they are finally preparing to release new music of their own.

Beyond revealing they are in the studio, no further release details have been announced as yet.

Their last studio album was released back in 2006.

Front-woman Natalie Maines last appeared onstage with Swift during the 1989 World Tour during her stop in Los Angeles at the Staples Center in 2015.
