Yep, they’ve done it – Dunies have taken out next week’s triple j feature album spot with their second studio LP The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit. They’ll be hoping that triple j success carries on into the countdown tomorrow, especially after their crack-up campaign ads – look out for a very fun chat we had with them, which is on its way later today.
On the singles front, there’s some good stuff on the cards from Melbourne’s Fractures and a huge new tune from Perth’s Methyl Ethel, as well as a new track from Guy Sebastian’s Hottest 100 hope Paces. The new collab from Snakehips & MØ is also going to get a spin, there are some expectedly gorgeous sounds from Ásgeir, and Rolling Blackouts C.F. pick up a cheeky spot rotation for their new track ‘French Press’ – good stuff all round.
If you’re after something a bit more nostalgic from the Js, however, you’ll be able to hear Double J spinning the entire 1996 Hottest 100 countdown this weekend, which should have you covered.
