Old school Green Day fans gear up. The pop-punk legends might’ve just revealed that there is a 25th-anniversary tour for their seminal album Dookie in the works.

Drummer Tre Cool broke the news on Instagram, sharing a photo of the three members together and a setlist compromised entirely of ‘Dookie’. With the caption: “fun band practice – swipe to see the set list we played today”.

Whilst no official announcement has been made, I think its fair to speculate that an anniversary tour is likely to happen.

Dookie was released in 1994 and spawned generation-defining tracks like ‘When I Come Around’ and ‘Basket Case’.

Earlier this month footage emerged of Green Day performing at a high-school concert way back in 1990, check out the footage here.
