Yep, that’s right! No longer will we have to miss out on exclusive shows and special events, KISS are bringing a one-time experience to downunder only, with a concert for Great White Sharks that you’re invited to as well of course.

We’ve seen the powers of rock and metal used for many things, from deterring threatening animals to shuffling bison off roads, but now KISS are using their iconic brand of legendary music to play a show for our great white sharks. It’s fine though, you’re invited to come join as well, if you can beat the sea creatures to buying tickets.

At first we didn’t quite get it either, a concert for sharks? In Australia? But it all makes sense after you watch the promotional video for it all. Apparently the low frequency sounds of rock music can lure great white sharks from miles away, as explained in the video below, which features some well-placed submerged speakers blasting ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’.

The Nov. 18 concert launching from Port Lincoln at 6:30AM off the southern coast of Australia will take fans on a cruise where they can soak in the sights from the surrounding wildlife, later getting a look at encroaching great whites through the boat’s glass-bottom floor while KISS play on-board.

Tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime, first-ever spectacle are going for $68 a person. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience, so you better hurry and snag them while they last. Get them here.

Presumably, Gene Simmons will be back to his usual form following his surgery to remove a kidney stone. The procedure forced the band to cancel one of their tour dates as the Demon assured fans it was “nothing serious,” but did require immediate attention.

Say hi to the Great Whites for us, and rock out with them, they deserve a break too.
