Knocked Loose present A Different Shade of Bernie

Nothing screams 2020 presidential candidate Bernie Sanders more than Knocked Loose, right? Well for fans of the absolutely phenomenal band, who have just celebrated the release of their new album A Different Shade of Blue, there are now hilarious pictures of Sanders screaming into a megaphone with a massive Knocked Loose billboard behind him.

The rally which occurred in Louisville, Kentucky is where the pictures were taken of the unwitting backdrop.

When the video first appeared on Twitter it’s safe to say that the poor Bernie fan didn’t take much notice of the giant Knocked Loose sign behind the candidate. Sanders was rallying workers of AT&T who were on strike, and it’s a beautiful sight to see them protest underneath an ad for the band’s new album A Different Shade of Blue.

“The American people are tired of a Congress that ignores workers and gives huge tax breaks to billionaires,” Sanders is heard saying in the clip retweeted by the Kentucky-based group. “They’re tired of a Congress that ignores the healthcare crisis in this country or tolerates the greed of the one percent.”

The Louisville event Sanders can be seen leading in the clips was one of several across nine American states, involving 20,000 workers who were protesting the labour practices of AT&T, the world’s largest telecommunications company.

Knocked Loose’s A Different Shade of Blue dropped last Friday (Aug. 23). The follow-up to 2016 debut Laugh Tracks contains the singles ‘Mistakes Like Fractures,’ ‘…And Still I Wander South’ and ‘Trapped in the Grasp of a Memory.’

You can watch the video below, with the rather obvious sign in all of its glory. The vid was even shared by Knocked Loose themselves.

And of course, with all things entertaining on the internet, the memes have started to pour in pronto.
