Fans of Lil Xan are sending their support to him and his fiancée, after it was revealed she had suffered a miscarriage.

Back in February, it was announced that divisive rapper Lil Xan was having a child with fiancée Annie Smith, just months after breaking up with previous girlfriend, Noah Cyrus.

While we questioned whether this was a responsibility that a bloke who once tore a hole in his stomach lining with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos should really take on, he Annie Smith took to Instagram to share their apparent devotion to each other.

Following on from Smith’s Valentine’s message to him, Lil Xan later offered up another piece of news, revealing he was set to become a father soon.

“Wanted to wait but i just can’t leave my fans in the dark,” he began “It’s official, I’m going to be a father.”

“I love you guys so much and hope you stay along for this crazy journey and I’ve never felt more happy in my life,” he continued. “All of you are invited to the gender reveal party, I promise!”

However, things took a turn for the confusing when fans began to point out that it looked like Annie Smith was actually faking her pregnancy.

After sharing a video of her ultrasound, fans soon took issue with this, noting that it’s exactly what shows up when you Google the phrase ‘week 9 ultrasound’.

Smith soon explained she was in fact the victim of a troll campaign, confirming that the ultrasound pictures were indeed hers.

“When I posted my YouTube video with my ultrasound pictures, a girl (I’m not going to comment on who) photoshopped them with another persons name, year, birthday etc, and uploaded them to Google,” Smith explained to E!.

“I’m honestly really disappointed that we announced it and now this is the rumor floating around.”

While this explanation sort of made sense, some of the images that fans have been citing as showing up in Annie Smith’s video actually turned up in a seperate YouTube video first published back in 2009.

Now, the story has taken a tragic turn, with Annie Smith taking to Instagram to reveal that she had suffered a miscarriage.

“The moment I met you I knew you were special,” she wrote. “I fell head over heels in love with you and only love you more and more every single day. I didn’t know it was possible to feel this way about another human.”

“Starting a family with you has been the most magical, beautiful blessing God has given me,” she continued. “Today I feel a hurt I never knew existed. a pain that comes from my soul.

“To my beautiful angel, mommy loves you more than she ever knew possible. you have made me the happiest woman in the world knowing I had the chance to be your mommy.”

While plenty of fans of Lil Xan have taken to Twitter to share their support of the rapper during this tough time, plenty of others are standing by the notion they faked the pregnancy, calling them out for trivialising those who have suffered miscarriages with their recent announcement.

Undoubtedly, this is a rather touchy situation, and while a stream of mixed messages are coming towards the pair, we’re in no position to speculate about the veracity of their recent news.

Despite this, it seems that if their announcement is indeed fake, Lil Xan may have an awful lot of furious fans on his hands.
