Kings of Leon fans are in for a treat, as there appears to be a whole lot of new music coming our way in 2021.

The band have taken to social media to share snippets from a whopping four upcoming tracks, their first new material in almost a year.

Kings of Leon began by uploading samples of the tracks ‘Feel the Way You Do’ and ‘Must Catch the Bandit’ on Friday, January 1st.

After announcing the two new songs would be released in their entirety on Thursday, January 7th, the band continued the huge roll out by also posting samples of the forthcoming ‘Dancing in Your Head’ and ‘Spin It Like We Can’.

The band have not yet announced release dates for the latter two tracks or provided additional details about a potential album.

The last track released by the band was a live recording of the new song ‘Going Nowhere’, which debuted in March last year.

Meanwhile, Kings of Leon’s most recent studio album is 2016’s Walls, which topped the Billboard 200 charts and reached #3 on Australia’s ARIA chart.

Bassist Jared Followill appeared to reveal that “holiday cheer” was behind the decision to announce four tracks in such quick succession.

“Blame it on the holiday “cheer”, but I just feel like sharing,” he tweeted

“@kingsofleon tweeted “the w8 is nearly over” TEN MONTHS ago. Enough,” he wrote.
