The Bluesfest line-up is already proving to be the hottest festival ticket in town after two major lineup announcements, but as the festival’s promoter Peter Noble promised in his colourful interview with Tone Deaf, the 2013 event has got more than a few tricks up it sleeve.

Now, not only is Bluesfest preparing for one of our biggest Artist Announcements EVER next Monday, they’ve also delivered the second installment of sideshows around the country.

Bluesfest Touring is absolutely thrilled to be announcing Rodriguez aka The Sugar Man in a series of unique concerts performing with surf rock band The Break (featuring members of Midnight Oil, Violent Femmes and Hunters & Collectors).

Next up we have the superb pairing of the Tedeschi Trucks Band with special guests Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue. This cracker of a combination may never be repeated and is not to be missed!

We complete this announcement with the return to Australia of the first lady of British blues, jazz and pure soul, Joan Armatrading.
