Following last year’s blockbuster debut, Spin Off Festival is returning in 2013.
The Adelaide-only all ages event will once again feature some of the best and brightest international acts coming down under for Splendour In The Grass, as well as a selection of hand-picked home grown talent. Last year we had Lana Del Rey (playing her first ever Australian show) alongside Kimbra and Band Of Skulls at the top of the bill. And this year? Well you’ll just have to wait a little bit longer to find out.
But before we get to that, some housekeeping. This year Spin Off is happening on Friday August 2 and because they like to mix things up, we thought they’d opt for a change of scenery in 2013.
So with that in mind they’re moving to the intimate and picturesque musical setting of Thebarton Theatre. It’s a smaller venue than last year’s festival, but that doesn’t mean it will be a smaller line-up. In other words, tickets are bound to sell out quickly!
But that’s all we know for now. With the Splendour In The Grass line-up announcement this morning, it can’t be too long ’til we figure out who will be gracing Adelaide.
