It’s already bound to be the triple-header of the year, and Dune Rats’ country-wide rampage just made its way to Melbourne this past weekend, with label-mates Skegss and Aus/LA duo The Gooch Palms backing them up across three sold-out nights.
As you’d expect from three of the country’s best punk acts sharing the stage together, and their fans packing out the Croxton bandroom, things got pretty loose – both onstage and in the audience. Even better, Zac Carper of FIDLAR took to the stage for a few songs, ensuring that what was already going to be a pretty awesome gig tipped over into full-blown legendary status.
Thankfully our photographer Julia Lay was there to catch all of the mayhem, from punters hanging from the rafters to the obligatory shoey. If you missed out this time, there’s no excuse not to be in the mosh next time around.
