The hype and energy was alive at the sold out Hordern Pavilion with 5500 fans, some who have waited all day at the venue were eager to see, 2021 Eurovision Song Contest winner Måneskin perform for the first time in Australia for their Rush ! World Tour. As the lights dimmed dark, the crowd screamed with excitement, Thomas Raggi rocked the stage, which was followed by more screams from fans as Victoria De Angelis gracefully entered the stage, but the biggest cheers were saved for frontman Damiano David as arrived and got straight in with the first song “Don’t Wanna Sleep” which was followed with the Tom Morello collaboration hit “Gossip” and for the 3rd song which was their Eurovision grand final song “Zitti E Buoni”. Rocking songs during the set included “Honey (Are you Coming)” and “Coraline”, they also surprised many eager fans with an up close and intimate performance of “Trastevere” on the B stage and delighted fans with a cover of Jet’s hit song “Are You Going to Be My Girl“. A few lucky fans were able to dance on stage during the the last song of the night “Kool Kids” as Damiano graced the barrier for the song. The night ended with encore performance of their smash hit “I Wanna Be Your Slave”
