Polish Club put on a pretty special gig last week for the launch of their debut album Alright Already, piling into the Chippendale Hotel for a night of searing garage rock.
Alright Already dropped last Friday, and the guys were clearly very keen to bust these tracks out live, and give the Chippo a taste of why they’ve quickly shot right to the top of the list of two-man rock bands kicking out a sound far bigger than their setup would suggest.
The Polish Club boys were obviously eager to capture the night for posterity, so they teamed up with talented photographer Tom Wilkinson, who shot the lead-up and the gig itself on the most rock ‘n’ roll medium there is – black and white film. You can check out the whole gallery below, and a quick bit of footage of the band in action to whet your appetite for the upcoming album tour.
If this all looks and sounds like your idea of a good time, their 11-date ‘Come Party’ tour kicks off in May, with tickets on sale now. They’ve already sold out their first shows at The Corner and the Oxford Art Factory and added second dates to both, so you’ll want to get in quick.
