Okay boys, we can see what you were going for here, but let’s be honest – this distinctly Melbourne take on the iconic alcohol-fuelled video for DZ Deathrays’ ‘The Mess Up’ and Dune Rats’ famous lung-destroying follow-up ‘Red Light Green Light’ isn’t quite raising the stakes in the same way.

Chugging lattes over chugging riffs, the duo knock back a heart-fluttering amount of caffeine to the sounds of their new single ‘NoLita’, apparently resulting in some headaches and nausea, if not a viral sensation of a clip.

While the video may not quite live up to its hardcore inspirations, the track itself is far more compelling, featuring rollicking guitars and an earworm of a vocal.

You’ll be able to catch these guys at their upcoming double single launch at The Gasometer Hotel on September 1.
