Adelaide outfit Neon Tetra have just redefined the very notion of upbeat indie-pop, premiering the luscious ‘Jealous Love’ today.

If you’ve not heard of Adelaide’s Neon Tetra, then the next couple of minutes are going to be an experience you’ll remember for years to come, with the quartet’s sound proving itself to be as unique as it is inviting.

Having kicked things off back in 2017, Neon Tetra quickly found a strong fanbase for their tunes, going on to support big names like Boy & Bear, Ball Park Music, Robbie Williams, and Foreigner.

With slick production bringing together gorgeous melodies and undeniable grooves, it’s no surprise that their debut EP, Pollen, grabbed them a whole new legion of fans.

Having released ‘Used To Be’ earlier this year, the group continued to write and record, teaming up with James Cecil (Architecture In Helsinki, Totally Mild) at Victoria’s Supermelody Studios to craft the masterful ‘Jealous Love’.

Serving as the first taste of more new music to come, ‘Jealous Love’ is a mesmerising number, with a dreamy façade built out of luscious synths helping to complement a series of lyrics that show a group that continues to mature with each and every release.

If you’re digging what you’re hearing, you can be also catch Neon Tetra when they hit the road in coming weeks. With a hometown support slot for British India taking place on October 25th, the band will be visiting Melbourne and Sydney on either side of an Adelaide gig over the next month.

‘Jealous Love’ is officially out on October 11th, but be sure to check out it below before it becomes a permanent fixture on your playlists.
