Radiohead have bought back another classic track to their touring schedule over the weekend, playing “Blow Out” for the first time since 2008. The band played the track as part of the second encore at their show at Chicago’s United Center.

It’s pretty common for the band to unearth gems from their back catalogue at their shows. In fact, rarely are two setlists the same. They’re also well known for playing a lot of live tracks but never officially releasing them until years later or at all.

“Blow Out” is a cut from the band’s 1993 album “Pablo Honey”. The group last played the song during their 2008 shows in Tokyo.

Radiohead have recently been touring for the 20th anniversary of “OK Computer”. Their last album “A Moon Shaped Pool” was released in 2016. Whilst their touring has been extensive since the album was released, they are yet to visit our shores since their 2012 tour behind “The King Of Limbs”.

Whilst there were rumours that they would be heading here this year, it now looks pretty unlikely. However you can watch a bunch of their shows from the past few years on radiohead.tv. The relaunched site has professionally shot footage of several concerts between 2016-17.

After this tour, the band plan to take some time off. ““We will hang up our Radioheads…” guitarist Ed O’Brien told BBC Two last year.

Fingers crossed this news changes. Until then we will just have to enjoy this video.
