This February will see the return of Australia’s largest free music festival. St Kilda Festival 2016 will kick off Saturday, 6th February and run all week, culminating with the always exciting Festival Sunday, which this year falls on Valentine’s Day (14th February).

Punters making their way to the scenic landscape of the St Kilda foreshore will witness performances from the likes of The Beards, The Bombay Royale, Client Liaison, Gurrumul, Hayden James, The Grates, Tuka, and more, all of whom will grace the festival’s Main Stage.

Over on the O’Donnell Gardens Stage, revellers will be treated to sets from Bad//Dreems, Broadway Sounds, Furnace and The Fundamentals, The Harpoons, Ivan Ooze, Jaala, Mighty Duke & The Lords, and triple j favourite Montaigne.

The Cat Empire’s Felix Riebl, Immigrant Union, Jakubi, Jess Ribeiro, Jericco, Lepers And Crooks, Owen Rabbit, Rita Satch, Mangelwurzel, Baro, The Pretty Littles, and many more will all be helping St Kilda Festival celebrate its 36th year.

The New Music Stage, a yearly highlight of the festival, will once again feature ten of Australia’s best emerging acts, with the audience favourite awarded a $5,000 cash prize and the honour of playing at the 2017 Festival on the Main Stage.

St Kilda Festival is an annual mix of live music, performance, carnival rides, sports, market stalls, activities, and entertainment for all ages. Check out the full lineup below or head on over to the St Kilda Festival website for more details.
