Australian Ska giants The Cat Empire have just released a sultry and slow-burning new single ‘La Sirène’.
‘La Sirène’ is the latest instalment of The Cat Empire’s song-a-month reveal for 2018, and it’s simply stunning. It features guest vocalist Eloise Mignon and is sung predominately in French.
The band’s co-frontman Felix Riebl has explained that ‘La Sirène’ is “the kind of song that I wouldn’t have expected The Cat Empire to play, but it just rolls along in this beautiful circular way. It just crept it’s way onto the album and has turned out to be one of it’s most charismatic moments.” Listen to the track below.
