The fabled XXXX Brewery to serve up live music in November

Not unlike Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, Brisbane’s iconic XXXX Brewery is a mystical wonder of enchantment and joy. Also, not unlike Willy Wonks’a Chocolate Factory, the brewery has announced plans to open its doors to the general public for the first time in an age for a very special event.

However rather than being shrunk or turned purple, XXXX Brewery will be offering punters an evening of live music and a hefty dose of eats and drinks in the name of the inaugural XXXX Presents: Live at the Brewery.

This is the first time in its 26-year history that the beloved Queensland-based beverage has opened its doors to an event such as this. To add even more enchantment than ol’ mate Wonka could have ever dreamed up, organisers have announced food stalls and limited edition merchandise on top of a line-up of five top-shelf Aussie music acts. The line-up is yet to be released, but already we have plenty to build up a thirst over.

Speaking of the event, XXXX Brewery Venue Manager Shannen Crapper explains, “XXXX Presents: Live at the Brewery gives us the opportunity to invite the community in for a fantastic day, giving the locals a sense of ownership of the place, and a bit of that XXXX magic.”

XXXX Brewery recently celebrated its 140th birthday, making it a time-tested favourite of not just Queenslanders, but beer drinkers throughout the land.

“In many ways, the Brewery belongs to all Queenslanders, so we’re pretty excited to share it,” Shannen Crapper adds.
