Warrandyte heartthrobs The Teskey Brothers have unveiled a cover of INXS’s forever anthem ‘Never Tear Us Apart’.

The band first performed the cover as part of the 2020 ARIA Awards, and once more for ABC TV’s 2020 New Years Eve telecast. Teskey’s have heard their fans desperate pleas for a studio version of the track, and that’s exactly what they’ve done.

“This is an all-time classic Australian song that all of us love. It’s a pleasure to sing it and I don’t know why we didn’t do it earlier,” the band shared in a statement.

The cover arrives with a music video, interspersed with live and backstage footage of the band. The clips title sequence sees footage of the late, great Michael Gudinski, introducing the band before they take the stage.

“We’re very proud to dedicate this release to our friend Michael Gudinski who was a huge supporter of Australian music and The Teskey Brothers. Our two worlds collided and we will always be grateful for that,” Josh Teskey shared in a statement.

To celebrate the release of the cover, The Teskey Brothers will play a very special one of show at The Forum in Melbourne on Wednesday, April 21st. Tickets will go on sale next Tuesday 13th April at 9 am. You can find all the relevant information below.
