The Triple J House Party Australian Tour 2013 has been announced and following on from last year’s storming trek across the country, Triple J House Party presenter and esteemed DJ Nina Las Vegas has rounded up another bunch of like minded musical mates to bring a feast of dance-savvy tunes and party attitude to a town near you this August and September.

Part Egyptian, part country and all busy, Nina Las Vegas been at the helm of Triple J’s House Party weekly show since 2009. In 2010 she doubled her broadcasting hours, adding Mix Up Exclusives to her radio DJ duties. If hearing her voice and favourite songs on the radio each week isn’t enough, you can catch Nina dancing behind the decks at clubs all over the country, running music workshops for young people in Australia, and tweeting (too much).

Joining the Triple J House Party presenter for the Australian Tour 2013 will be production duo and mix specialists Flight Facilities, announced in the wake of their latest single ‘I Didn’t Believe’ (featuring Elizabeth Rose) and previous Triple J favourites ‘Crave You’ and ‘Clare de Lune’, which both placed in the top 20 of the Hottest 100 poll.

Others on the House Party Australian Tour 2013 include club crasher Cassian, Brisbane young funkster  Tyler Touche, and 21-year-old “64 bit freak” Wave Racer, who was described by music director Dave Ruby Howe as “rolling on Mario Kart 64’s Rainbow Road with unlimited invincibility.”

If you can’t make the party, don’t stress, as you can soon grab a copy of the brand new Triple J House Party CD volume 2, filled with all the tunes that make you dance. On sale Friday 23 August.
