After testing the waters with his debut single ‘Heart of Gold’, Rif Raf (Joel Rafidi) as released Day 1 featuring the lead track Always Home.
Always Home pays homage to his roots and all the opportunities that have been presented to him throughout his life. With parents that migrated from Palestine and Lebanon, Rif Raf was born in the heart of Sydney’s west and then raised in the South.
Day 1 was produced by Rif Raf and Steven Manovski and mixed by Daniel Antix (Ball Park Music, Radio Ink) and includes five new songs all written by Rif Raf and giving a very personal outlook into his life from bullying to ex-girlfriends to the love he has for family and friends.
