Following on from rave reviews for his recent Bigsound showcase in Brisbane, FBi Social show in Sydney and a sold out EP launch show in Melbourne as well as tours with the likes of Matt Corby and Gossling, Hayden Calnin will be headlining the Toff for his last show of 2012 on Saturday 22 December.
The 22–year-old, self-produced singer/songwriter, has been building a following after garnering the attention of Triple J and its listeners with comparisons to international acts such as Bon Iver, James Blake and The xx.
Runner up in the 2012 Qantas SOYA (Spirit Of Youth Awards) music category, Calnin won himself the opportunity to workshop his music with Daniel Johns (Silverchair) and British producer/mixer Lee Groves (Goldfrapp, Elbow). Most recently his single ‘For My Help’ also won him the Judges Award in the 2012 Catapult Song Contest.
