Indie buz band The Rubens, a four piece from New South Wales, have officially signed to Ivy League joining the likes of Alpine, Lanie Lane, Deep Sea Arcade, and Josh Pyke.

The three brothers Margin + their good pal Scott Baldwin are talented young chaps who were responsible for one of our absolute favourite songs of 2011 – the stunning ‘Lay It Down’ which came in at #57 in triple j’s Hottest 100 poll.

The band are currently are putting the finishing touches  on their debut album in NYC with producer David Kahne (Paul McCartney, Regina Spektor, The Strokes) which we’ll be releasing later this year.

The guys will return back to the sunny shores of Australia this weekend and will commence their first ever national headline tour which is close to selling out in every state.
