Melbourne band I, a Man employ familiar musical tools and a classic sense of songcraft, they take in elements of droning folk, swirling krautrock, dream pop and all the woolly ideas in between and present them with an understated yet hypnotic and textured dialogue.

Having released two EP’s in two years, four-piece further cemented their organic blend of the cerebral with the instinctual, helping steer them through a series of tours and a handful of festival slots, including Falls Festival, Hills Are Alive and support slots with the UK’s Bombay Bicycle Club.

After international jaunts and some time in country Victoria the band reached a decision upon 11 tracks, and returned to Melbourne’s The Alamo studio to once again work with long-time production team Tim O’Halloran and Dave Williamson, and this time enlisting the mixing skills of Tim Whitten (The Go Betweens, Augie March, Art of Fighting), to put the final touches on what has become the bands debut LP.

‘Less Travelled’ is the first single off the bands debut album due for release in early 2014 and to celebrate the release the band will embark on a east tour stopping off in the following capital cities:

Friday 16 August – The Tote, Melbourne w/ Sincerely, Grizzly and Love Migrate
