Here’s the new one from Melbourne alt-rock outfit Winter Moon, a bluesy slab of psych rock named ‘King Bait’.
It’s the first we’ve heard off the band’s upcoming second EP Hearts & Hands, the follow-up to their 2014 debut Lucid Dreaming, and packs powerful blues-infused vox laid over an undulating bed of crunchy guitars – definitely living up to the band’s description of the new EP as a “barefaced celebration of sex, love and female power in rock ‘n’ roll.”
Winter Moon will be hitting the stage at Ding Dong on Saturday September 17 to launch the new single, ahead of the release of the EP on the 21st of October.
